Our bedding is grown in multi-cell packs with between six and twelve plants per pack. This gives you well-grown plants at a reasonable price per plant.
Most varieties are tender (ie. thew will be killed or damaged by frost). We recommend that plants are hardened off (by leaving them out on frost free nights) before planting out and only planted once all danger of frost has passed.
The following varieties are fully hardy: alyssum, antirrhinum, cineraria, gazania, pansy, stocks and violas. Marigolds are particularly tender, whereas petunias are somewhere in the middle.
A number of varieties are also available as seedlings earlier in the year.
Bedding packs are available from early-April until early June.
