Impatiens/Busy Lizzies

Impatiens (buy lizzies) give season long colour in a wide range of shades from red through pink, white, orange and violet. All types will grow happily in both sun and light shade.

Bedding Varieties
These are ideal for bedding out in the garden, or for making into single variety baskets (ie just bedding impatiens) or they can be used to add colour to any hanging basket.

Double Varieties
Double impatiens are larger plants than bedding types, growing up to 18 inches (45cm) tall. Use the as dot plants in a bedding display or in single variety planters.

New Guinea Impatiens
These are single flowered varieties with darker, elongated leaves. We also have some varieties with brightly yellow-variegated foliage. Use them in planters or in the garden.

Availability
Plants are available from late March to June, with New Guinea types slightly later in the season. Many are also available as plug plants.
